Traditionally, WWE will book one or two matches for the kickoff show of pay-per-view events.
However, the first night of WrestleMania 37 may not feature this and there’s a reason behind it. WrestleVotes reported today that WWE creative has talked about not having a kickoff show match for the first night due to them wanting to save the first entrance for the main show. Up to this point, the company has not had fans in attendance at shows for over a year.
Hearing something interesting- WWE may not feature a match on the WrestleMania kickoff show for night 1, as the 1st entrance back in front of fans is being looked at as a HUGE deal. Not decided at all, but definitely a conversation happening within creative.
